The 2011 HalfKorean.com Meet will be held on Saturday July 30, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA and is presented by HalfKorean.com & Amerasian Unity Foundation.

This year we are planning an ALL day event, split into two events; a family-oriented gathering during the day for those with children and dinner in K-town at night.
Day Event: Meet & Lunch – 10:30AM-4:30PM
Alta Loma Park

We will have a lunch and our general meet during this time at Alta Loma Park so please try to attend! We have lots of fun activities and games in store!
There will be no cost to attend our daytime event but we welcome anyone who is willing to help out by volunteering to assist with setup/cleanup, give monetary donations or bring snacks/refreshments/utensils, as any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Approximate cost for dinner per person would be ~$30. If you plan to drink alcohol, make sure to account for that as well and be sure to drink responsibly and/or have a designated driver.
This is the general theme for our meets:
“This meeting is for anyone whom is mixed Korean. It doesn’t matter what the percentage is, what the other mix is, how old you are and where you were born/raised. We want to bring together EVERYONE to celebrate our Korean culture and our diverse mixed backgrounds. Everyone, including non-mixed Koreans, is welcome to attend as well as long as they have a sincere interest in people of mixed Korean descent (significant other, etc.).”
