Professional MMA Fighter Benson “Smooth” Henderson is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. He became UFC Lightweight Champion on 2/26/2012 at UFC 144. He is also a former WEC Lightweight Champion (10/10/2009-12/16/2010). He has a collegiate wrestling background from Dana College (graduated 2006) where he was an NAIA Collegiate All American.
