GYOPO is hosting their first mixed Korean themed event (“Mixed Race Korean Identity“) in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, February 23, 2023. February 23, 2023 6–8 PM This event marks the first of a GYOPO program series on mixed Korean identity and community. Where does mixed Korean identity lie within the broader Korean diaspora? Join us for an evening featuring scholar and author Dr. Grace M. Cho (Tastes Like War: A Memoir, 2021) and mixed-race psychologist Dr. Jennifer Noble (“Dr. Jenn”) as they discuss the intersections of war, immigration, adaptation, mental health, and the mixed Korean experience.
