Whether you are rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV this Sunday February 6, 2011, you have to be pulling for Hines Ward to have a successful game. Kidding aside, this will mark his 3rd appearance with the Steelers in the Super Bowl. The previous trips in Super Bowl XL in 2006 and Super Bowl XLIII in 2009 were both victorious. Ward was named the MVP of Super Bowl XL and, as many of you already know, was the catalyst for discussion in Korea regarding the treatment of mixed-race Koreans. A recent story in KoreAm Journal highlights many of his great career feats and talents on the gridiron. Here’s hoping that he adds another Super Bowl victory to his already long list of accomplishments. Go Hines Ward!
