Historian/Public Figure Philip Ahn “Flip” Cuddy is a prominent Korean-American historian. Flip is a highly regarded historian whom is knowledgeable of both modern Korean and Korean-American history. His Korean family is well known as his grandfather is Dosan Ahn Chang Ho (famous Korean patriot), uncle is Philip Ahn (Asian-American actor) and mother is Susan Ahn Cuddy (first Korean-American woman in the USA military). In addition, his love for surfing has lead him to holding a variety of roles in the surfing industry including event/contest judge and promoter along with holding the title of president of various surfing clubs and organizations.
